The North Georgia UMC Chapter of CEF is following the lead set by National CEF (www.cefumc.org) and striving for a "both/and" solution to creating communities of Christian Educators who work together to support and nurture the faith formation of the congregations and communities that they serve. We want to include BOTH the professional Christian Educator on-st...aff at the local church AND the bi-vocational part-time Christian Educator AND the super volunteer who works full time in another setting. To achieve this goal, we are striving to use technology to create opportunities for conversation outside of face-to-face meetings while still preserving face-to-face meeting opportunities for continued discussion and fellowship.
